This intensive course combines a comprehensive introduction to Bahasa Indonesia with an in-country immersion program. Students begin with an intensive introduction to the Indonesian language in Arizona and acquire basic communication skills in classes that run 4 hours a day, with tutoring and cultural activities in the afternoon. Students then relocate to Denpasar, Bali, for an assisted full immersion experience, living in host families and learning to navigate daily life through one-on-one 'real-life' exercises with local language coaches.
