The Institute of International Education (IIE) is pleased to announce the release of application guidelines for the Project Global Officers (GO) program. Through this solicitation, Project GO is seeking proposals from U.S. Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) with at least one on-campus ROTC unit to provide quality language instruction to ROTC students.
Project GO is an initiative of the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO). Project GO seeks proposals from U.S. institutions of higher education to develop and implement programs for ROTC students from all majors and disciplines. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to teach up to three of the following critical languages: Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Pashto, Persian (Dari, Farsi, Tajik), Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu to a minimum proficiency level of ILR 1.
The deadline for the receipt of proposals is 4:30 p.m. (EST) on May 2, 2018. Two webinars will be held to field questions regarding this solicitation on:
• Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 3:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time
