Integrated Korean: Beginning 1, 3rd Edition (Klear Textbooks in Korean Language): Textbook and Workbook, University of Hawaii Press.
This 15-week language course will be delivered through the synchronous Video Tele Conference (VTC)/Zoom Gov program which students can connect from any location with an internet connection. The instruction of how to connect to the online class will be provided to the students before the first class starts.
Through this course, students have opportunities to develop fluency of comprehension and production to express their needs, simple ideas, and handle informal and formal situations in Korean. The course will include diverse sets of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in class activities and assignments.

Additional Details:
The objective of the course is to help students gain mastery of the fundamentals of Korean including Hangul (Korean Alphabet System), speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to (1) take Elementary II Korean or an equivalent program (including Year 1 Korean summer Project GO program at the University of Montana); (2) speak Korean on a variety of topics with a basic level grammar and vocabulary; and (3) write a short paragraph on familiar topics in Korean.

The selection process of the spring course is a seperate process from the summer Project GO program.
