To apply for a Nenda scholarship, please submit a letter of interest to nenda@jmu.edu via email. Your letter should be no more than one page long.

List at top:

• your name,
• your year in college
• your GPA,
• your experience with language study
• the program for which you want a scholarship

In narrative format, please write about

• your interest in studying Swahili
• your interest in traveling to Kenya,
• how you hope to use your knowledge of Swahili and East African culture in future.
